What We Are

Some of my earliest and fondest memories were enjoying home cooked food, made with passion, joy and love by my grandad and my dad. It was how they showed love and appreciation for their family. From then on all I wanted was to learn how I could follow in their footsteps.

I ultimately grew up adoring chefs, idealising men that cooked on tv such as Jamie Oliver, Anthony Bourdain, Ainsley Harriet, Jacques Pépin, Gordon Ramsay and Guy Fieri. I wanted to share the pride and confidence they had, serving their friends, family and paying customers dishes they had created. I was addicted.

So, as a grown up, I worked in the restaurant industry for 12 years. In that time, I managed a number of bars, pubs and restaurants in Dorset, and for a long time I was perfectly content in climbing the progression ladder, biting on dangling carrots and enjoying all the hard work and challenges that hospitality management brought.

Now, at 28, I’m setting myself a new challenge. I’m betting on myself and here it is! My favourite food, crafted from 100% local, organic, fresh ingredients and produce. Nothing else.

I’m putting everything I have into this journey, and I hope you guys enjoy the ride with me.
